    pics of her Impala

I found this car for her 10+ years ago sitting next to a barn in the middle of nowhere. It's been painted, bumpers, about 25% of the chrome, seats recovered and it didnt need it, but about 4 years ago we did the air ride. During that upgrade, we replaced all the rear suspension with air ride tech control arms and bags, up front replace everything with new factory style stuff except drop spindles and air bags. Plus put a 1 inch sway bar in the rear and 1-1/4 in the front. Added disc brakes and the wheels. That was alot of car to stop with manual drums.

427w, afr225, ci hyd roller, super vic, single stage, and swapped aode to tko600 to PA c4 w/brake.

Beautiful car! Love the '59 & '60s, often overlooked. Good for the 2 of you to both be into cars, and share the hobby.

I don't have any pics of the inside on this computer, i'll have to take a couple. I agree on the windows, it's the only car we don't have tinted.
Drivetrain is bone stock, 283 v8 with a glide. We have a gen VI 454 and th350 to go in the car. I plan on warming the big block a bit, thats next winters plans. She took most of my fun money this year for a couple of upgrades herself.
Brakes are a 11" single piston, like you find on a later model caprice. The air ride is solid control arms with poly bushing on the rear. It has a 5gal tank with a single compressor, and its controlled with a digital hand held controller(about the size of a credit card). 1/4" lines so it's slow, thats the way she wanted it, she just lets it down at shows or when we are going to be parked awhile, like dinner.
