We got our local paper today and in the police log part there was an entry that a 17 year old was caught doing donuts in a parking lot and was charged with Criminal mischief. That seems a little rough for doing donuts to me. That was reckless driving last I remember. Get a ticket, pay your fine, and carry on with life. Now it's like a go to court crime. WTF.
If it was up to me doing donuts would be part of drivers ed.
Might learn how to handle a car in a emergency or a slide on a slipery road.
Untill you slide a car around you have no idea of what it's like.

Shoot Glenn, a wreckless is even worse now. Isnt that 7 points? That was a bit harsh though. Should have given a disorderly conduct. Last time I did a burnout and got caught the officer gave me a Disorderly. It was 50 and court costs.

Yeah Rob, I heard that about reckless driving. I heard if they write careless driving it's no points. I got a ticket for a burnout before they started tacking on all the extra cost BS in Dormont years ago. It was written as reckless driving and the ticket was around $35.00 total in the 80's. They started that cat fund BS shortly after that. You never know what happened with the kid in the paper either. He may have mouthed off to the cop.

Thats entirely possible. Cops will ALWAYS screw you sideways if you are disrespectful. There's standing up for your rights and there's being a dick. Being a dick to a cop always makes you worse off.
