I guess you didn't see that as soon as the hill was crested, the cars were already sliding out of control and gaining speed.
Did you want them to use x-ray vision to see through the hill so when they were coming up one side they could see the pileup on the other?
I'm glad the kids didn't seem to get hurt and they got out of the way quickly.

I avoided a few hills on my way in yesterday at 5am cause I saw and knew it was going to be bad. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that ice is slippery.
