I'm getting a decent wish list together of parts that I'm most likely going to order in a month or so (up to $3800 so far. ).
I guess I had some stupid questions. First one being, should I get an aftermarket slave cylinder (McLeod Adjustable Slave Cylinder P/N: 14-301) or just stick with the OEM one? The car is going to be mostly street duty, but will see some passes at the track. I'm not trying to be like the sawzall boyscout and buy the best and most expensive part for every corner of my car... But if an McLeod adjustable cylinder is better for the McLeod RXT that will be going in it, then I'll buy it.
I plan to replace it either way when the transmission is out...
And the other dumb question is the pilot bearing... The GT500 has about 8500 on it right now. I know when I swapped to the Spec Stage 2+ in my GT, I changed the pilot bearing and slave cylinder (OEM) but then again the car had 57,000-ish miles on her.
I figure if I have it apart, its worth while to change, but with 8500 miles, is it really worth it?
