What ever happened to the flashlight drags that had in between PNC park and Heinz field? I dont know who was running the event or anything about it for that mattter. Is there any talk about another one? I think the last I heard of it was about 5 years ago or so. Seems like that would be a great atmosphere to run in.

Firstly, It was a 330ft race....
PRP quit sponsoring it a couple years ago.
No sponsorship, no race.
That was not a FLD event. Strip way to short & entry fee too hi for what you got. I went the 1st year but found the Blue Suede @ Norwalk to be a lot better deal.

I was there. I remember the white Opal that didn't stop until he hit the dirt mound.
PRP put on Thunder in the Burg. It was a cool deal, but it was expensive, between insurance, rent (parking lots), paying city officers for security and traffic control, etc. PRP needed a sponsor to keep putting it on because of all those expenses.
I ran my car down there when it had the 4v s-trim on it. It was fun, traction sucked
anybody there the first year when that Black Cycloe Truck cleaned everybodys clock He did not loose at all It may be short but being in that area on a nice day I think it was 20 dollars i thought it was a decent day
