Right - I've heard the 19" wheels that do not come with the Brembo upgrade will not clear the calipers. But you know what...a set of 18" GT500 rims will clear...I love the way they look.

Ok - not cool - you have to post up a photo - don't be a tease!!

And you're right - the Brembos don't fit under the base 18" GT rims, but they also don't fit under the 19's except for the ones that come in the Brembo package.

I have yet to drive a new 5.0 (on my things to do list), last spring my x girfriend bought a yellow 03 Cobra with 6k miles on it... she went to Florida and got it herself (didn't ask for my help so I didn't offer it) so when she gets back with this thing I drive it and I'm thinking to myself this thing runs and handles nothing like my 03. I couldn't take it anymore and I had to tell her what I thought of her car. That pissed her off and is one of the reasons she is my x. I'm wondering if your car was made on the same day as hers lol. My 03 handles and runs great, fits me like a glove and the thought of trading it on anything else has never entered my mind. Another thing that made her mad was I said it was like driving a lightbulb lol.

I loved my Cobra don't get me wrong. It drove well, handled well, and was fairly comfy. It's just that this car is so much more refined, and the power is amazing for a naturally aspirated motor.

Btw, that zinc yellow didn't do a damn thing for me either. Yuk!

yeah after test driving one i am about 90% sure i want a '11-'12 GT over an 03/04 cobra. I'd still like to drive a cobra though.

I already have an interview coming up next week and waiting to hear back from a few other places i applied to. Just two more months of school and if i have a job lined up by then i will be on my way to the dealership
