    Supercharger After Cooler

So I've been looking into to doing an after cooler on my fox. It has a vortech kit on it and after looking at there after cooler kits my jaw dropped. Why so much???

Now I'm new to superchargers but I have experience with turbo cars. Being that both applications are forced induction can I just run an intercooler and fab some piping like I would for a turbo car. I have a nice intercooler new in the box laying around from another project and was thinking piping it shouldn't be to hard. It would be almost cost free since I have the intercooler and piping laying around.

    Will an intercooler work?
    Has anyone done this?
    Pros/Cons?
    Thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Matt

If you want an Air to water, my buddy has a nice cooler. Just the cooler. You would need a pump, tank and hose. Probably get it cheap too.
