Sorry but I think Vai is the biggest cheese dick ... he does have talent but he's still a techno-cheese dick!

Now this is a real axe man! .. 1961 Fender Stratocaster, Fender and Marshall cabinets and head, a cry baby wah and a tube screamer! No high tech crap just soul and feeling!

I definitely agree with mr4teth,about Vai. No doubt the guy can play anything, but it feels like a technical display rather than a song from the heart.
Give me guys like SRV any day over the "look what I can do" players.

Traded in my 614ce and my wife picked up the difference.

    This is guitar #59.

The 1st 100 were hand signed by Dave Matthews & the serial # is hand written, not laser etched.

    I...

...have been playin in bands goin on a few decades now!! My main bands are www.myspace.com/lackingrestraint and www.myspace.com/featherlightpgh for those who didn't know er wanted to check'em out!

-My first guitar I got given to me when I was like 2 was a Diasonic Acoustic, then my mom pick't me up a black with white trim Bently Acoustic electric.
-Next I pick't up my first full on electric, a black with white trim/gold hardware Epiphone Gibson Custom, this won now has Gold strap locks, 2 EMG 81's, Gibson SG knobs and tuner keys. I play'd it out, the nut needs fix't and the frets are all worn down from shreadin it!
-I then had my dream guitar given to me thru a mutual friend, its a early vintage 1960's Gibson SG(supposely a similar one the Beatles used)!
-And about 4 er 5 yrs back I pick't up a LTD ESP Viper 1000 Deluxe!

-My current rig is a PEAVEY 5150 Eddie Van Halen Signature model head and a Marshall JCM 900 Lead-1960 Cab.
-I also have a Marshall AVT150H head and a Crate GXT 100H head and matching smaller cab with the Celetion Speakers.

All my gear thru out the years I currently still have today!!!!
