    New DD

I posted up some preliminary pics the other day, but I finally got some good pics this morning....

    2006 Lexus IS350 .... 34K miles - absolutely mint condition...

I researched the available packages, and it appears to have every option that is available...
    -heated and COOLED seats
-touch screen navigation with backup camera and full voice controls
    -bluetooth phone connections
    -DVD entertainment
    -parking distance sensors
    -18" wheels
    -sport suspension
-"active" bi-xenon headlights (the headlights actually turn with the car to see around turns)
-14 speaker premium Mark Levinson Audio system
    -rain-sensing winshield wipers
-radar sensitive cruise control (will keep you at a certain distance from the cars ahead)
and all the rest of the bells and whistles you'd expect on a car like this...

Great car, great handling, and has a very powerful engine... 3.5L V6 with 306hp... 6-speed automatic transmission with the option to put it in manual mode and use the steering wheel paddle-shifters....

I couldn't be happier with the car...

Yea, it runs great... and its deceivingly quick.... being that my last two cars big HP cars, when i was reading about how it has 306hp, i didnt' really think much of it... but it surprised me on how quick it was, so I got to thinkin - that's more hp than a new edge GT, more hp than a LT1 F-body, almost as much hp as a Mach1 mustang and not too far short of a LS1 f-body... so, it really does have quite a bit of HP, and at 3500 lbs, its not a real heavy car... it gets up and gets going really well, and with it being whisper quiet, you don't even realize it....

Handling is also spectacular... not 'Vette kinda handling, but it'll rip around a turn quite well...

I haven't looked too much, but it appears like its mid-high 13's bone stock, and with an intake/exhaust/tune, it'll get into the 12's.... edmonds got .9G on the skidpad, which is pretty good too

    Nice car Bish.

I was always a fan of the IS's.....IS300 to the 350, always nice cars. I sat in the new IS's at the auto show and got out wanting more. Pretty disappointed to say the least. So I'd have to say your year still remains as my favorite.

    I didn't sit in the IS350C (convertible) but i did sit in the regular IS350... i don't know for sure, but I don't think they've changed from '06+ .....

Looks good except for the illegal window tint and no state inspection and emissions. IM KIDDING!!!

We should line up our DD's on a closed course with professional drivers.
