I got a job in Pitt/Cranberry, need place to rent

I start with Westinghouse on March 14th.

I'm looking for a cheap place to rent since I'll also have to juggle my current mortgage for a few months. Anywhere within a 15-mile commute is ideal.
Need a 3 bedroom place and really prefer off-street parking.
I'm actively looking using Craigslist etc, but thought I'd throw this out to the group.
I could even drive up today (Monday 2/21) to meet up, but after just buying a car last weekend for my wife it will be this Friday before I can pay the first month rent and security deposit.

If somebody has a house for sale near that area, I'd be willing to cover your mortgage (maybe plus some if I can) in sort of a rent-to-own scenario if it's the kind of house we'd be looking to buy eventually.
There would be a lot of little details to work out, but we would keep the place spotless.
I have 2 very well behaved kids and no pets.

In this scenario we would rent the house until our home sold and we became comfortable with the area etc. and then we would outright buy the home.

That's an EZ turnpike drive from Oakmont to Cranberry! Especially if you're working at the RT. 228 facility.

Ended up renting a place in Rochester. It's not pretty but the immediate neighborhood is good and the size is right.
It's also just 12 miles from work. A very reasonable commute.
Will move in on the 5th.

We'll move out of Rochester before they're old enough to go to school.
Probably more southeast of Cranberry in case my wife needs to commute to Pittsburgh.

Great looking place you have there.
It will be a few years before we're ready for a house like that. At the moment my wife isn't working and my income alone won't get us that.
