    Gear brand question..

Hello I wanted to know if Motive gear was good brand name gear for my car?
I am going to be going with 4.30s for my cobra.

We have installed motive and a ton of ford racing gear sets. They both work well but I would reccomend ford racing gears.

The Ford gears tend to install with less shimming which means you will spend less on install time. The steeper motive gears like the 4.10's and 4.30' s also seem to make noise even when set up correctly. Save yourself some hassle and spend a little more on the FRPP gears

We charge the same no matter what gear set is installed. The ford gears set up alittle easier but we have not had any issue with motive gears making noise either. You just have to be right on with the pinion depth.
