Good Volvo Mechanic? (Need to check over a used car before purchase!)

Does anyone know a good Volvo mechanic in the south hills area? I'm about to buy a Volvo S40 and I'd like to get it checked out quick by a knowledgeable mechanic. I've only owned American cars so I'm new to the European scene!

Information ASAP is greatly appreciated being as I plan to buy the car this week!

What year S40? I own an '04 and do most of my own work, so I can't recommend a Volvo mechanic but I haven't had too much trouble with mine. Overall it has been a pretty good car. Besides the normal maintenance, I've had the check engine light pop on a few times, once for the coolant temp (thermostat -fairly common problem) and more recently for a catalyst related issue (code P0420).

Maybe Bill Gray Volvo could take a look at it for you?

is this place bad or something? i had it checked out at my regular mechanic and it passed with flying colors. now a proud owner of an 08 s40!

i'm curious if that place is good so I know where to take it in the future if anything goes wrong.
