    quarter window question

    ok so i have a 84 hatch and it has the plastic vent covers or wat ever there called behind the quarter window do they sell new ones anywere or can u replace it with a full glass quarter window..cause i have noticed some have them some dont.

    No one makes new ones, you will see some people will put the 87 - 93 glass in there but in order for it to look right you need to put the roof rail mouldings and drip rail mouldings on.

    ok now will that work with a t-top or do i have to fab the moldings to work

    You would want to find the trim from and 87 - 88. Your interior quarter panels will be off around the quarter window opening too.

    yeah that is true...my 84 coupe has 87-93 quarter windows on it and its not that bad though..no one sits back there anyways

    I myself like the old school louvers, there are enough 87 - 93 cars around. 79-86 cars are less common.

    Just tape them off and paint them up real nice. I do mine every summer just to keep them looking crispy ;)

    Black

    yeah, i put late windows in my 85 T-top and everything said is true.. they fit the body well, but the molding is little off. and the interior has a gap.. not too bad tho

    i have a couple sets of those louvers if you need a set to paint.
