    Got a pair of Cadilliacs

The mrs was ready to trade off her Magnum, and after looking at a few awd sports sedans, she made her mind that she wanted a CTS. Couldn't find exactly what we wanted in a car that was 1-2 years old ( I like buying after the big deprciation hit), so we had a local gm dealer find us one. They found us exactly what we wanted. AWD premium with every option and crystal red. When I went to see it after they drove it from chicago, I passed a car that really caught my eye. I was planning on getting rid of the shelby this year anyway so I bought it too. Before I get called crazy, I bought the shelby sight unseen and quickly realized after buying it that It just didn't fit me well. I didn't have any fun driving it (other than WOT!) and decided it was too expensive to own and not drive. So any way I bought a 2004 Cadilliac XLR hardtop roadster. It's a blast to drive, and the retractable hardtop is very James Bond-ish. I'll get some better pics later on

I saw you at the bottom of Springfield Pike yesterday about 4pm. I thought, "Whoa! I think that's an XLR. Who the hell around here owns one of those. Damn, that thing seems wide or is it low???"

Are those built on the Corvette chassis? Sweet cars!

Wow, very nice rides! Didn't they make a V version of the XLR?

Edit: just read that the V came out in 05 I believe... And wow were they pricey.

I wish it was a V. Pricing was nuts on the xlr and galactically insane on the V!

+1 those look like Pep Boys wheels but other than that nice cars! I've only seen like 2 or 3 of those XLRs ever in person.
