You can't put a 351 Lower intanke on a 302. It is wider, but all of the upper intakes are interchangeable between a 302 and 351.

A cheap upgrade. Better off just saving for a good set of aluminum ones.

I thought I had something when I tore my 351 down. But its a 91 and the heads are the same as what I pulled from my 87 302..

Some 351 suck some are good. Have a set from a 69 Mach-1. They have some big valves. Not really worth the time of ripping a top end of a motor apart for.

few 351w heads are worth it, the 69 windsor 4 barrel heads are nice because they have bigger valves and a tight combustion chamber and flow pretty well, but you will need to have hardened vavle seats installed and usually they need new guides and all the normal machine work done to be reasy to use, in the end you have 7-900$ invested in them, you are better to buy a set of new allum heads, ebay has edelbeock knock off heads for 6-900$ per set and they are great for performance, i have used them before.

never looked at the edelbrock knock offs.

but i didnt think the 351W heads would be worth it for the $. 5.0 parts are a TON cheaper than the mod parts..
