    Battery Light?

I was just wondering if anyone knew what could cause the battery light to turn on when a certain RPM is hit. While driving i have noticed that around 3000-4000 rpm the battery light will turn on. When i asked to have battery checked at Autozone they said it was probably the tensioner spring. Anybody got any ideas to help me out?

Yeah - could be your serpentine belt is slipping due to a bad tensioner.

If that is it, I bet some folks around here might have one lying around.

it could possibly be the belt slipping, however...this happend to me...once i got up in the RPMs my battery light started going on then when the RPMs would drop it would turn off. eventually it started happening at lower and lower RPMs until it did it at idle. Turned out to be the alternator. they tend to do this when they start going bad. Go get your alt tested
