So I am lookin at gettin a set of new rims and tires and I was wondering if I am able to run 255s on the front and 285s on the rear of my 93 fox or what do I need to do to run them.

Some people have got amazing tires sizes under Fox cars with just the "right" mix of parts ...
You should also specify wheel size and profile when discussing these as height matters.
In a very broad way, 245/50 (15's or 16's) push the front on normal fox wheels and you typically just fit or get some slight rubbing ... 275/50 (15's & 16's) push it on the rear where you are rolling fender lips, adjusting tailpipes, and loosing quad shocks to get there.
Again, much more tire has been on these cars, it's just the details that have to be spot on.
Sorry about the details I am lookin at 17by10.5 in rear with 285s and 17by9 in the front with a 255 on it.....I mean I figured I was goin to have to roll the fenders and loose the quad shocks by the way do u need th quad shocks for anything
wheel hop....get an adjustable set of control arms..get em set up by someone who knows what they are doin...and toss the quad shocks over a hill...on a side note, Lakewood liftbars work also
