I don't know enough about it. My friends that are running it, are strip only cars/dragsters. I don't think there is much that needs to change, you just need to make sure you deliver enough fuel, as you use more alcohol compared to gas. You might want to try tech sections on DragRaceResults.com's Bracket Talk forum, or YellowBullet.com.
ive heard that fuel lines are the biggest problem but im running a 16gal fuel cell with all steel braided an lines to and from with an weromotive a1000 pump and regulater to a demon blow through carb so i think i could supply enough fuel. all the internals are forged except the crank i just didnt know if you could just start running it and have it tuned to that instead
going to need a bigger pump than that buddy, most guys I know who run alky use a belt driven fuel pump

there is more than just the pump thats for sure lol and it is odorless also, makes it dangerous. why not just run some c16 or Q16. Q will have to be taken out of the tank because it just eats everything. Hell even spray some meth with some 93 to save money. I would spend money on a carb before fuel system. that demon carb is scrap alum in my opinion. call up Roger at c&s or kevin at csu. good guys
id run c16 but its like 7 bucks a gallon hell i guess for now ill just run 93 and act happy haha

yes, good idea! I can get 55 gal. drum usually 100 off the normal asking price of c16. The more you buy better the deal. I got a snow meth kit I'd sell ya for a good price too.Originally Posted by SK360

Pistons and compression ratio are way different from alcohol and gas. It gets pretty pricey.
