Need legal advice

I treat them how they treat me period. As far as the tint goes My new stang is tinted and I just roll them down when I see a cop. I also agree to be ready with lights on ignition off and keys on the dash when they walk up. It's just better off for everyone I think they may appreciate it as well. And face a cop is a person just like everyone else and if he's a dick it has nothing to do with his uniform. He may just assume that it makes it ok though.

I had a buddy with an F250 with 8" of lift 38's and 20% all around. He had a routine where he puts down all of his windows,every light he can turn on and he put his keys on his roof. He got pulled over 11 times last year alone but has never had any points on his license and never got anything for his tint. As long you respect the cop they'll usually be cool.
The one time he was pulled over and I was with him the cop, although I couldn't actually see him from the passenger side, asked him why he put his keys on the roof, my buddy told him so you know I wasn't going to try anything stupid. The cop seemed to be impressed and we drove away without anything

Why are the Police vs Civilian threads always so long?! Go on google or whatever, type in "PA crimes code, space, then whatever law your questioning and you'll find your answer..the LEO's job is to uphold the law, end of story!! they didn't write the law, PA legislators did.. Saying that a cop is wrong for pulling someone over for tint is like complaining to a cashier that the price of something is to high, they didnt make the price, management did..when someone needs the cops, there the greatest, but when they do their job and enforce the law and you get caught, their pieces of sh*t..maybe if people had respect for the police, they wouldnt be so harsh at times

I feel like there should be rules like this that are required if you have tint on your vehicle. I mean, if you roll the windows down, turn on your interior lights, take the keys out and hold your hands out the window it would seem like the situation would be as safe as possible for the officer. Hell, at night with the lights off they can't see in your car anyway. Just my .02...

The first two pics show my hyundai in all its stock awesomeness!!

But wait!! you can see in the third I removed the "U" in Hyundai- you know, for mad tyte weight savings! and that crack in the bumper is for air to flow through for better aerodynamics!

I did do an upgrade on the interior though. You can see that awesome 220 speedo!!! ;)

First off, removing that "U" changes the make of your vehicle thereby making your registration invalid. Major violation!

I also see some "tint" on your windshield not only obstructing your vision, but more importantly making it difficult for LEO's to see in. It's brown and not the traditional black, but I'm sure it's still illegal :p

The two things that piss me off about this situation is that I was riding with my windows down and he pulled me over because he saw my back windshield was tinted so he made me roll my windows up to check if they were tinted. The other thing is that the fire department I belong to runs mutual aid for the department in his borough so he knows me pretty well but wrote me up anyway.

This is where I think the cop was not right!
