I'll recap what is going on. Saturday we tried starting the car with no luck. I checked the FP gauge while Eric cranked it. It would spike to 45 psi, then fall off to zero. This happened over and over. I cranked the set screw on the regulator all the way in, then all the way out. Eric turned the key agian and finally the gauge held at 40 psi. Fired the car up and it ran for 10 minutes w/o any issues. After 10 minutes the car died. Zero FP again, absolutely no luck getting the FP to maintain 40 psi. I went home.

Today Eric fired the car up w/o any issues again for 10 minutes. Again, after 10 minutes the car died. Same problem. FP falls to zero, and he cannot get it to hold.

    Fuel

Mine is nothing like what you just explained. It runs great, but when you shut the engine down, the fuel pressure drops to zero quickly. I just majorly turned up the wick on my LX...Roush Yates short block, 70MM turbo, 80Lb injectors, TKO 600, built rear, complete Aeromotive fuel system, Ed Curtis custom cam etc...etc...$$$$$$$$ and more$$$$$$$$. I changed so much on my car I was wondering why it would not hold fuel pressure when it was shut down.

I called Aeromotive today...it is normal due to the A1000 fuel pump does not have a check valve and will bleed off pressure immediately.
