    My 2004 Z16 edition Z06

    I picked up my Le Mans commemorative editon (called the Z16) Z06 yesterday just south of Washinton DC. I averaged just shy of 28mpg on the way home in it to boot. I took it out this morning for a few pics before my wife took it off of me as she wanted to drive it. LOL! I will get better pics but here is a few. The car really looks better in person than in photos, I didn't care for the stripes when I saw pics on line but they really set the car off in person. This car definitely pulls way harder than I expected it to.

    12.03 at 112.5mph NA
    Best time with 9:1 compression NA dart block 331 setup:
    11.50 at 121mph

    Thanks guys! I never dreamed that I would love this car as much as I do. The more I read about this car before I bought it the more I wanted it, but I wasn't prepared for how good it truly is.

    White5.0- I suggest you copyright every picture you put up online. I have had three friends and seen countless others have their car used in catalogs, ebay listings, etc without their permission. The only way someone is using my car for their profit is if they pay or sponsor me. One of my best friend's car was used in a national mustang parts catalog without his permission and when he sought reimbursement for them using it they told him to pound sand. He then sought out legal action and discovered that non-copyrighted material on the internet is referred to as common property and anyone can use it for whatever purpose they want. Google images is notorious for being the source of non-copyrighted images.

    Rob- they were rated at the same 405hp/400tq as the 2002-2003 models. The 2001 had 385hp. Most claim the 405 was actually an under-rating, though I have no proof of that myself.

    Joe- the fastest stock cars have broken into the high 11's at 116-118mph. Most driver's run mid-low 12's at 112-115mph. It is a STRONG car, I can now attest to that.
