I am thinking of selling my 2002 laser red mustang GT. I just don't have time for it anymore. Car has 72,600 miles. Motor has about 12.5k miles. Blower has about 7k miles. Car runs and looks excellent. The air conditioning blows ice cold. It makes 669 rwhp on 93 octane and 742rwhp @ 23psi on C16. There is currently no tune for the nitrous but it is hooked up and functional. I just never see a need for it but the bottle is full and the purge looks pretty cool. There is obviously a lot of money invested here but I am also realistic when it comes to the price...that is why I set the price at $16,500 which I think is fair for the extensive mods which are as follows:

    ENGINE:
Modular Powerhouse built short block (281ci)
Modular Powerhouse stage 3 race 2V heads
    Modular Powerhouse custom grind cams
    Canton oil pan

    twin 75mm throttle body
    Todd Berry custom CAI
    8 rib belt set up
Gord's heat exchanger with dual fans
    Thump Racing 3 bolt tensioner
Zex 75hp nitrous kit with purge

    FUEL:
    03 cobra tank
MPH return style fuel system with Aeromotive regulator
    80lb injectors
    CPR rails
    SCT tuner

    EXHAUST:
    Magnaflow cat back
    VRS off road X-pipe
Mac ceramic coated long tube headers

    DRIVETRAIN:
    03 cobra t-56
    26 spline input shaft

aluminum clutch quadrant and firewall adjuster

    Steeda full length subframe connectors
    Wild Rides battle boxes
    03 cobra front calipers
    Brembo crossed drilled rotors

New 315/35/17 Nitto NT05R drag radials

UPR sherical upper control arm bushings

    INTERIOR:
03 cobra front and rear seats
    FR500 steering wheel
    Autometer Lunar series gauge cluster
Autometer Lunar series fuel pressure and boost gauges

Thanks guys. Here is a link to the video from the race tuning on the dyno. First pull is the 742rwhp C16 tune. Second pull is an 801rwhp tune on C16 and the 75hp shot. The only reason the nitrous tune is no longer in the car is that I was not completely satisfied with the drivability of the original pump gas tune. I call SGS Automotive and told them over the phone that I wanted the pump gas tune replaced with a more drivable one. Well after picking the car up and getting it home I realized later that they had inadvertantly replaced my race gas nitrous tune with the new pump gas tune. So now I have two pump gas tunes and one race gas tune. No nitrous tune. Bummer! I know. The only reason I never had it retuned for the nitrous is that I didn't ever see myself needing it. But the car did and will indeed make over 800whp as you will see in the vid.

Yeah, I know Barry and yes that was my garage that you came to. Ha, that's funny I remember him telling me that he was going to bring someone over to see the cars. Barry is definetely a big Mopar freak. You know I never could get him to take a ride in that cobra...lol That ride may have converted him.

Did this car come from GA? Looks like Gary's old car. When i had my 02 built i was down at MPH in GA a few times and knew gary and his car. I know he had it for sale but lost track after Tim sold off the shop and the MPH boards got shut down.

Yeah, I bought this car off of Gary. I bought it after I sold my cobra to cure my mustang withdrawal. LOL I paid more for the car than I am asking now plus I added a few parts. The car was well built and is a great car. Very fast. I have two invoices from MPH that total $35K together and there are at least $10k worth of other parts on the car that there are no invoices for (T56, lunar guages, cobra brakes and seats, cobra body panels, built rear, bilsteins and the list goes on). With two young boys who keep getting taller. It is getting imposible for the family to ride in it and enjoy it. And I just don't personally have enough time to enjoy it either. If you know anyone looking for a fast, great looking car that could be driven daily tell them to send me an offer. I'm not desperate to sell and don't have to sell but just don't see a good reason to keep it. Thanks

I will pass it on to a couple folks. I know the car. Gary and I had our cars built around the sametime down MPH. Met him a couple times when we were down there with my car and at a couple of the MPH dyno days. I know first hand the quality of the stuff in the car. This a very nice, well built car for a good price. I don't come on here to often. Was kind of shocked when i saw the car and realized that it was his old one.

I know we're not supposed to comment unless we're interested .... but I have to say your car is freaking wicked and a great bargain for $16,500! I wish I had room to store it .... it would make one hell of a track car!

    sorry Lou couldn't resist!
