I hope it stays that way for the both of us joe, I mean I really like the way this tranny works.....hopefully there is a permanent fix for these people and they just arent a flawed design.
I cant believe clutch bolts are backing out......it seems like they are just throwing parts and fluids at the problem hoping they fix it.

When was your car built because it seems in that thread that most of those were built early in 2010. The same goes to you i hope you dont have any problems either and same for the rest of the people on here that bought one. most of the people on there say its sluggish on the 1 2 shift at low rpms all that i can say is more rpms

well the engine had a 3/10 build date.....so id classify mine as early but it works beautifully......there are people running alot of horsepower through these trannys out there and it seems like the people who are having the problems are relatively stock.
this problem seems completely synchronizers, or something like the clutch dragging and beating them up. the pictures ive seen all the damage is on them and nowhere else

In cold weather I cannot get into 2nd gear regardless of RPM for the first 10-15 of driving. Other than that no problems here.

1300 miles on mine with a Jan 21 2011 build date. I have no problems hot or cold. On my 09 tr3650 it would be rough getting into second when it was cold but this one is giving me no trouble at all.
Little over 400 on mine.

Take this for what its worth.....I told the guy i just wanted his professional opinion and i wouldnt throw him under the bus for it.
just talked to a chemical engineer with royal purple. he said running synchromesh or 75w-90 would be good either or...75w-90 he said would be obviously notchy when cold..I told him ive seen pictures of the synchros in the mt82 and they are just old style looking surfaces, no carbon lined. its also odd as per fords lubrication it calls for QS but they are supposed to have QDC according to the manual and the new TSB.

I think mine must have QS in it (75w-90) its a thick darker fluid
