Everything was factory. As far as proving the stockness if these cars are supposed to have a " black box" shouldn't a dealer be able to check the computer for any altercations? Anyway people can hate and disbelieve all they want. Really makes no difference. We know what it did. Its not like there is some big prize or something! Lol. This was the first time to.the track with the car and never expected it to run that good. Only 550 miles on it so it is not even broken in yet!!!

I was a crystal clear day. D/A was really good. 30's to low 40's temp wise and 30.1x on the barometer. There were numerous personal bests achieved that day.

Are these times with the factory fluids or is there synthetic from the front to back?
Like cam303 stated, showroom stock. Full tank of gas and the tires were inflated to the specs stated on the door jam. Nothing was taken out of it or added to it to produce the e.t./mph

Nice Runs Joe! Do you have any pics of this beast?

Far cry from when we thought it was awesome to get our 93's in the high 13s, don't you think?

I got to get er cleaned up then I'll snap a few. I remember those days like yesterday!! Back when 3.73's, pulleys, k&n panel filter, and an off road H was a bad mofo. Then add an A or B trim and you were out. You know the recipe. You were up there bangin' em and adding to the collection of time slips. Was that circa 1999?

From 1996-1999, I was up there on every test and tune with my Cobra. Then from 2001-2003, I was up there with my 2000. I swear - I must have over 1500 passes on those cars combined. Aside from a few clutches, I have never had any major parts failures. I can't complain!

Im thinking at PRP on an average summer day, 12.70's as is maybe dip into the 12.60's. The DA was probably 900 feet below sea level when he ran those times. PRP avg. is probably about 2000-3000 feet above sea level.

What was the DA? Or is it a secret . I dont go there so I have no idea. I just know its well below sea level and its 1000's of feet lower then PRP. Thats why I laugh when people get bent out of shape over the times Joe runs in this car and his fox. There are no tricks, just someone that understands how important air is to the performance of an engine. Those 10.50's in the fox are 11's at PRP. When people wanna know where the nitrous is, I would just say you dont need it at Cecil because the air there is basically the same as a 75 shot lol. The fact is the ET's are true, people just have to understand they just cant be compared to others in different locations. Take it for what it is...

ASSuming 40 degrees at 30.10 and Cecil's real elevation, you was better than -1000, pushing -1100 DA ... Holy mineshaft air ;)

Here is a calculator that can be used to calculate DA for various tracks ...

    http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-...t+Weather+Data

It usually also provides weather data, but it seems it is missing for Cecil on this date. I use this one a lot when looking at internet posted times, you can go back and look at their DA, and usually get it pretty close.

Are you suggesting that Cam303 hacked into the weather database and altered the information to keep anyone from pinpointing their information! Holy data-disappearance Batman!

LOL, I wouldn't put it past them, hidden nitrous systems and all

Nah, I'm not sure what's up there, we are getting what we pay for with a free site. Weather station data is out there for just about any area if anyone is inclined to dig into it. I've seen it missing for several locations on that site over time and usually need to dig it out of the NWS or an airport or a local news outlet, or something. It's pretty easy to guestimate that this time of year at Cecil it's going to be mineshaft air.

In the 2.3 world we have a number of guys in Colarado at very high elevation, and Florida that can swing widely, even through the day. For us to compare effectiveness of changes we obviously use DA a lot.
