Ownership and management shouldn't have to be told that if they know what their doing. I used to race a Jennerstown speedway and it was their way or the highway... They are closed now.

That is the other main reason I went from being at PRP every single test and tune day from the time the track opened until the last event of the year, to hardly running there at all. Hell for two years in a row I was the very first car down the track on the first test of tune of the year. I was dedicated, even though I was a lowly test and tune guy.. I even moved my work schedule around so that I could be at PRP a good hour to 45 minutes before the gates opened so that I could let the car cool down before racing started. My dad and I were regular fixtures there for many years, but that has definitely changed. If you feel it wouldn't fall on deaf ears I would gladly take the time to voice this opinion to them.
Paul, I'm of the opinion squeaky wheels get the grease. So at the least, it couldn't hurt to copy and paste your post about the burnout boxes into an email, and paste in the 3 addresses. Wouldn't take too much time, right? lol :D I wouldn't ever say you, or anyone, was a "lowly test and tune" guy. You are the track's money makers! - as there is no payout on test and tunes, compared to bracket days. I wish I could tell you for certain that it wouldn't be a waste of your time to let PRP management know your feelings. But, in my mind, you would be just about the dream customer: you love running your car, and you do it all the time. Trust me, I hear you.... before I got into bracket racing, I did the same thing, taking days off on test and tune days so I could be there before the gates opened to let the car cool down, etc. I know PRP has its flaws, but it is still my local track, where I've built great memories and friendships. Tracks need all the support they can get to stay open. I'm not saying that means it's ok to be bent over, but there should at least be a happy medium.

Speedracer, every business should at least be able to listen to customer feedback. Ever notice how many businesses take surveys?

Gotcha ... I missed that and was rather confused because I though at least one of your cars was speed density based as well, and obviously we see those changes via MAP on start-up.

On a side note, I actually tag the pressure when power cycles on in my data logs so that I can correct runs to measure real changes in my tune ;) Again very difficult to tell if a change really helped unless you are correcting for DA.

I understand, and did very similar last year and plan the same this year. My focus has been on the NMRA national events and UMTR races. I am still at PRP most every test and tune and a bunch of regular race days (racing or not), but quite simply, I am much happier at these other venues as my goofy combo competes better and most of them are VERY happy to have me there.

LOL, yeah, it seems the spirits are always aliged against this happening. I started winter upgrades early last fall, and here I am not ready, and likely not ready until early May. I have been in India and Germany over the last month, and now China until late April. Pretty hard to pull the car together when you arent even in the same country :( Of course by the time fall rolls around my junk is used up after the NMRA Columbus race.

I had really hoped to run NMRA Atco this year as there is still a chance of mineshaft air (and sometime not) but it's looking bleak now too. Someday ;)
