im gonna be getting some mufflers from a 2011 5.0 and gonna have them custom fitted to my 2010 4.0 v6. i cant find anything about this online, so im really curious as to how its gonna sound!

what about mufflers from a 2011 gt500. my bro in law has some from his ss conversion.
Yeah - the GT500 mufflers are becoming a popular upgrade to the new 5.0's. I've heard a few of them on modularfords.com and they sound great. The key is that you don't get any drone like you do with some of the aftermarket mufflers.

Honestly it's gonna sound like a six cylinder stang. No getting around the sound they make really. Post a vid after the install, should be interesting to see if there is a difference..
i have listened to other videos of v6's with gt take offs and there is a big difference, and the 5.0's already are pretty loud stock with a good sound to them so i think these are gonna turn out pretty good

well took it to the garage im gonna have work on it today to get an estimate on how much it will be. I learned real fast stainless is way too much right now. they are putting an x pipe on re using the already existing side which is already 2.5" and fabricating the other side..somewhere between $200-$300 they said...right what i was figuring
