Looks to be a euro edition! Does it have recardos or red/blue inserts in the seats?

Most expensive seats Ford had ever put into any vechicle when they were new, Euro package FTW.

I sold my '03 with 121k for $4500, it had the winter package which this has, but mine did not have the euro seats or wheels. I miss that car, it did everything right. My only complaint was that it could have used a little more power.

Neat little car. Love that interior - looks almost new. With gas prices the way they are right now, prices of these sporty little gas sippers are at a premium...

I don't know how you did that. Roll down hill with engine off?

I got 19-22 in mixed driving, 28 on trips. Think I might have gotten 30 one tank. I drove it pretty hard, but you had to shift the thing at like 6500 just to keep up with traffic.

I shifted it 1-3-6 at no more than 2000rpm and coasted everywhere I could, that is how I always drive my non-sports cars. I seriously drive like an old lady Mark when I in my DD's. That is one reason why i picked up the GTI over the WRX, the GTI has so much low end torque that I can lug it around no problem, the WRX HATED being driven like that. I drive 16-20K miles per year for work and they do not cover fuel or vehicle cost so I have evolved into a kind of hyper miler out of necessity.

Paul...you could probably have squeezed 38mpg out of her if you had just gone 2-6 all the time...

nah not those fat ass daily driver seats...the seats in the '00 cobra R gotta be the most expensive. when ford racing did sell them ( they no longer do ) they were $2,599 for the pair...thats more than i paid for my car as a roller LOL

I wish I could remember the exact story, but when Ford was developing the SVO they really wanted a high end seat. Although they look similar to GT sport seats of the day, they was not. Anyway, they spec'd out the high end leather seats and fought with the bean counters to get them into the car ... They freaked because the price was extremely high compared to the normal options (3x??) ... so after a bunch of back and forth they got the green light ... When they went to lock in the order, they found out the price they was using was for ONE seat, not the pair ...

The details might be off a bit, but that;s the general idea.

Heated leather side-air bag true Recaros brother, you tell me which is more expensive :)
I'd rather have the Cobra Rs though, I bought my '94 SHO from the engineer that helped design the '00R seats, they were sweet and I miss that moonlight blue full leather MT SHO :(

You have much more patience than I my friend. I honestly don't think I ever shifted that thing under 4K.
