Very nice truck! Congrats! That mpg is pretty good too, my dad sees like 11 in his 3 valve 5.4 f150. And I get like a little over 10 in my 2000 with the 5.4

Nice. I'd suggest Nasta bars if you want metal. 100% stainless on ALL parts. Mixing stainless with other metals will cause rust. I've had mine for 5 and 1/2 yrs and no rust. Every once in awhile you get tiny orange specks that come right off with cleaner.

As for a cover, we've been considering a new truck for awhile and I made my mind up if we do get one I'd get the Undercover. I've got a Snuglid on mine now and the lid is crazy heavy. Only way to remove it is with a couple guys or the hoist I put together in the garage. I prefer the hard covers, other people's cigarettes don't burn holes in them.

Thanks guys. I got a chance to break it in this weekend doin a little muddin up in Tionesta. I went up for opening day of trout and it ended up being a bust with the fishing aspect so we went exploring lol. The truck did well off road but I will def be purchasing more aggressive tires in the near future.

By no means am I reckless especially not in a truck but I'd rather have the option especially on the highway.
Where do you hit 96 while passing?? My '94 F150 - also a 5.0 :D - has trouble staying at 70 on the highway...

I've heard the F150 tuners give much better throttle response and 1.5 - 2 mpg more on the highway. Pretty amazing these new trucks can pull such good mileage considering their size. I get 12 mpg with a tailwind and keeping my foot out of it... Luckily I have a very short commute to/from work.

1966 Coupe - 331 stroker - Bullet custom roller cam - cam and motor installed and dyno tuned by Rodeheavers Hot Rod - Astro A5 - McLeod RXT - 486 to the wheels - more fun than my little tires can handle

1966 Oldsmobile Toronado - currently NOT on jackstands

I do a lot of out of state traveling and most states have a higher posted speed then PA. So when I'm in Baltimore or just outside of Jersey and I'm getting my doors blown off I'd like to have a little more than 96 mph... I would prefer my right foot to decide how fast I go.

    LMAO @ Mike
