I got the job of a life time!!!

I just posted this on another site I'm on and I wanted to share this on here as well, so for some it might be a repost.

I know I've not been on much since I went back to work last year but I wanted to let you guys know I've got a new job. I started at Mylan Pharmacuticals on march 7th. It has defenately been an experence to say the least. I've never worked at a place this large or with so many people so that's new to me as well. And learning the new job hasn't been easy either but I'm slowly catching on. One of the down falls is I'm on steady afternoon shift, but I'd rather work it than night shift. Of course the rewards are worth it. I'm already making $6 more an hour than I was at the machine shop I was at for the past 11 years and once I'm there 18 months I'll more than double what I was making there. I never thought I could ever make this kind of money so it's really exciting for my wife and I. Hopefully in a year or two I'll be able to get a garage built then maybe I'll finally be able to get a Mustang!! It's nice to finally have a job that I can possably make our dreams come true! Up till now that's all they were, dreams.

Congrats man! When I lived in Morgantown I had a friend that worked there and he really liked it. Much like you, it was paying way more than he'd ever made before. He ended up turning into a drunk and f'ing his life up, but that's another story, haha.

congrats on the new job! Enjoy the new financial freedom but keep in mind you now have the chance to put a few dollars to the side for the future. Invest in yourself for the future (precious metals, etc).

Thanks guys!! It's defenately nice to have money left over for once.
Congrats 40thGT that's awsome! It a great feeling when you know you're bettering yourself. Once I get my 18 months in my wife can work part time if she wants instead of having to drive an hour each way to work. That makes me happy!
