Its funny when people who dont know these cars talk about them. They made over 2300 66 shelby's and no 66 ever sold for to 2 million. These cars ar lucky if they get to $100,000, Shelby never sold the cars either.

I was thinking the same thing. Probably CNN's researcher thinking a Shelby Cobra is a similar car to a Shelby GT350.

The 66 carry over cars or a nice 66 will bring over 100K 3 years ago 150K.

Shelby didn't sell the cars where they were built. They were sent to dealers. The 65 shelby's went over 100 grand,the 66's are cheaper then the 65's. I work for a shelby dealer and parts place.

Hi-Performance Motors/SAI was the "end-user" dealership that Shelby pumped cars through.

You could also buy a competition car directly from SAI
