Anyone have either of these tablets? I hate smartphones. Not even an option for me.
I've played with all three tablets in the store, but I just wanted to see if anyone has had experience with one.

We've got an iPad here. My wife uses it more than I do. She reads books on it, games and movies. Gets lots of use when traveling. I use it as part of the whole house stereo when it's not on the road or at work with her.
When we got it there were no Android tablets out there. Now that there are a few choices out there it comes down to size, do you want a bigger screen or smaller? To me that's really the only difference, I jailbreak/root so any of the other stuff is no concern for me to workaround. As far as using Google Market or iTunes store, Google is still a little less evil, but catching up real fast.
One other thing you may want to consider, the iPad has a little less functionality with the single home button, Android devices seem to have better menu/control with the multiple buttons.

We bought my son an IPad 2 a couple weeks ago. I am an Android OS kinda guy myself but it's cool for what it is. The battery life is great, the screen is very clear and easy to see. There are tons of accessories for them.
You cannot run flash on it due to Apple not playing nice with others but aside from that it's ok. Looking into it further, I would have gotten an Android tablet if I was the primary user. Since I went to an Android smartphone I am hooked on that OS and would never ever get an I Phone, no matter the version.

I have been in the market too so i'll take any info out there ;)
I will say, for travel I have an Ipod touch and nano (new touch screen one), both are incredible in different ways. If the iPad is close to those it would be worth it for me. Battery life is always an issue for me, my touch wont make most overseas flights without back up if i'm playing games on it (damn angry birds) ... The nano is great for music and that battery lasts a long time. I'm not a fan of iTunes, but it does "simplify" the use of those. In many ways, that is probably the strong point for Apples stuff is that it's rather simple to use if you want low hassel. If the iPad falls in line the same way, it's probably what I will end up with.
Was never a smart phone fan either but now have HTC Invredible on Android. Love the usefullness of it, not sold on the Android system yet. Mostly becasue of how it tries to integrate contacts with everything. Need to sort that out.
I have been hedging on a tablet waiting to what is coming from some of these other vendors but it seems Apple still owns it. My other issue is with WiFi connectivity, in the US no issue, but I struggle in the rest of the world (and the smart phone is too expensive roaming).
The ICD Gemini would of been the one to get, if it ever got to market.

ICD seems a bit lame by the looks of their website:

Still debating. My main issue is this thing HAS to be able to steam porn.
