the rear of the block near the bell the stamping 1h227984 appears can anyone help me id what it means ? if it helps there is a 2 cast into the valley between the lifters and a ford oval with the script into it.. if anyone knows please text me as im not online that much or leave a message on here. thanks alot 814 243 3778 is my cell.
What motor? 302/351/Mod?
Windsor 303/351 blocks casting number should start with a letter then number to give casting date, example casting starting with F4 is a '94 casting for a 351 truck roller motor.

it is def a 302 .i got some more details that may help .the heads are non egr units with 48 cast into them and 302 cast into them , there is a tiny plate between the rocker arms that is screwed into both heads that has B on it .it has a right side front dipstick . the rockers appear to be cast and have FA on them and they are straighter than the 91s i have . the only thing i get from the rear of the block is 1H227984. i hope this will help.
