I wonder if it can be sanded down evenly enough to just get the flames off? Prob. is more work than just spraying the front half of the car.

If the flames were painted over the clear, which I bet they were, I would give it a shot. Whats the worse that could happen? You have to spray the frontend anyway??? If I had the cash, I would be sanding right now. Great deal on a car that needs paint. Not like it was wrecked.
Seen this car on a trailor on the way to carlisle, then seen it there, very very clean car, flames are little much for me, but car is clean
The car is really clean! The only reaso I have this car is because in the spring I was selling an 09 yamaha grizzly 700 eps with a low and some other extras that was worth an easy $6000. The owner of this car offered me a trade and after looking at it I figured that with how clean it was I could probably sell it for more that the atv....boy was i wrong! lol. So obviously I am taking a hell of a beating on it!
The best offer I have been given so far is $4500 from a local used car dealership. I am most likely going to let it go for that because every time I look at it I get pissed off. If anyone wants it for $4500 I would rather an individual make out on the deal instead of a stealership!
Wow that's kind of sad (although not surprising in today's used car market/economy) that the best offer you've gotten is from a dealer. If I had 4500 I'd buy it right now. There's not that much work there to make it all white!
