X2 Mike, I hooked there no issue but thought I was on the return road in the left lane, it was really bad. Last I was there the right wasn't too bad. I will go back for the UMTR race and see what's up I guess.
Of course the bump in the left lane at PRP friggs with my mph bad, and I'm not raising the nose that high to correct that. It's not rough, but something that seems to need attention there too as it seeks to get a little worse every year.
I agree Bob, the right lane definitely seemed better at QCR.
I also agree with the differences in mph between lanes at PRP. Alot of cars with a nose height like ours seem to have the problem and its a PITA. The cars that are really low or higher dont seem to see the difference. Its not PRP's equipment or the fact that its setup incorrectly, its the track itself. But like you said, I agree something needs to be done at some point.
Do you have any idea how low guys are that dont have an issue? I might need to take a tape measure with me ...
I think Ed experimented with this on his and went up a good bit ??
I know the higher fox guys dont see it (Chuck, Dave, etc), but I did with stockish front springs. I never saw it with the Eibach launch springs either but would need to raise my nose almost 3" for that (aint happening). When I put coil overs on now it's the worst I ever saw it (5 mph at times (112 versus 117) and going down 1" didnt help
(and FWIW ET's are identical, it's only MPH I see affected).
I'm going to add a flap under my core support (air deflector) that might act as a beam beaker if I do it right. All of it doesent matter for racing but when tuning I need to fight to keep in right lane or it's useless.
