Damn it sure did. By the way I launched at 6600. Found 2step wasn't at 6500 but it did go to 6700 on last pass Sixty slowed up but I picked up another .03 over 2nd pass. Had lot more wheel spin but it kept rpm up as car picked up a lil more mph. 12.27, 12.34, 12.31 ah well I think that is all it has in it.

Nice to meet some people from here today! Was a nice day out for sure, although a bit crowded and i got super sunburned haha. Best run of the day was the 3rd and last. 12.43 with a 2.14 60'. Best mph for the day was 117.8. Traction was pretty limited for me till the third pass it started getting better. Overall though alot of fun!

Today ... yeah, but get the 60's to where you normally are and all your bests are in danger. That line was a bit tricky today, hell I think I saw Chuck actually spin in the gamblers For what was there, you should be happy.

    BTW, more RPM is good

Can't expect to wring out a combo with one pass by any means. It don't matter who you are.

    What is going on here?
    Look at this:

The first image is from a video that someone took of my third pass.
The second image is the timeslip for that pass.

    Anyone see anything wrong here?

    Look at the MPH!!!

All day it looked to me like my MPH was way off vs my E.T.

Ummm, yeah....they got a little problem there....

I heard they had the score boards rewired and they had problems most of the day with them. The time slips are right. The scores boards had issues which Im sure they are aware of but not much you can do in the middle of a day like today

    A list ....

    Your RT sucks

You are testing in the left lane at PRP

    You have a GM ;)

Seriously, you could NOT trust anything those scoreboards said yesterday. There are some major issues there for sure, and they was worse in the right lane as far as what they was showing.

The timeslips are right as they are tied to the scoring system directly, no matter what. That's not to say they are accurate, but they print what the timing system records.

I suspect when you mention the ET/MPH matches your last year combo that should be the clue the scoreboard was wrong as the starting line wasnt what you are going to see after everything gets settled.

Great day to knock the dust off everything, but not a lot to be really learned there yesterday IMO ... It's one of the reasons I never really try to makje it to the opener ... BTW - Your car looked great!

Like I said, the right lane was worse...

I have to disagree and say the MPH printed on the timeslips was off by 4 MPH but the scoreboard had the correct MPH....as shown on my image, the scoreboard was exactly 4 MPH higher than my timeslip. I ran my car there all last summer and it's basically unchanged for this year and I know what it should run. How could my NOS runs and my NA runs both be off by EXACTLY 4 MPH?

I suspect when you mention the ET/MPH matches your last year combo that should be the clue the scoreboard was wrong as the starting line wasnt what you are going to see after everything gets settled.
The ET/MPH combo shown ON THE SCOREBOARD matched my last years runs almost exactly. The timeslip MPH did not.

Great day to knock the dust off everything, but not a lot to be really learned there yesterday IMO ... It's one of the reasons I never really try to makje it to the opener ... BTW - Your car looked great!
    Thanks....
Now let me say that I am NOT trying to bash PRP in any manner. I love going to PRP and want it to be there for a long time. It's the nicest track in the area and I usually hook amazingly well there and I run my best times there. But I think there was an issue with the timing system yesterday and I am just trying to bring it to light so it can be corrected. It was opening day and $hit happens, but accurate timing is a basic necessity for a racetrack. I'm sure they will find the issue and have everything working next time I get to go. (If it ever stops raining for a minute).

I agree, and believe me, I have been accused of being a "track basher" for doing the same ...

I have very well seen that (depending on your car nose height) that MPH in the left lane at PRP can not be trusted. Raise your nose, it's okay, drop your nose it's okay, get to a point that you "might" trip the MPH clock with your nose instead of a tire and I've seen 5 mph, with 3 more typical ... Last year I ran 2 runs in the right, two in the left one night and was 112 mph right, 117 mph left. That's what needs fixed for those of us that test combos.

I did not make any passes yesterday so i'm not sure if the bumps out there changed over winter or what, but it's "real" based on your cars ride height.
