Great day ...
Ed - See the right rear on your first pass, I told you it rolled on to that side.
Damn it sure did. By the way I launched at 6600. Found 2step wasn't at 6500 but it did go to 6700 on last pass Sixty slowed up but I picked up another .03 over 2nd pass. Had lot more wheel spin but it kept rpm up as car picked up a lil more mph. 12.27, 12.34, 12.31 ah well I think that is all it has in it.

Nice to meet some people from here today! Was a nice day out for sure, although a bit crowded and i got super sunburned haha. Best run of the day was the 3rd and last. 12.43 with a 2.14 60'. Best mph for the day was 117.8. Traction was pretty limited for me till the third pass it started getting better. Overall though alot of fun!

What is going on here?
Look at this:
The first image is from a video that someone took of my third pass.
The second image is the timeslip for that pass.
Anyone see anything wrong here?
Look at the MPH!!!
All day it looked to me like my MPH was way off vs my E.T.
Ummm, yeah....they got a little problem there....
I thought it was a pretty good day considering everything. They had a few hiccups throughout the day which can be expected for a pretty much brand new crew and their first day being a big one. I believe the car count was about 280 cars. Being the first race of the year the traction wasnt great because of the little to no rubber down.
A few positives changes I noted and Im not sure what you guys think... The new staff seemed much more pleasent to the customers. They did everything to open given the wet conditions when almost all the other tracks in the Northeast closed. They ran as long as possible to give everyone 4-5 runs, even turning the lights on and running after dark. They were still running until someone oiled the whole track down and it was going to take 2 hours to clean it up so they just called it for the day. I hope things continue to get better.
It was nice meet alot of SCS members...
Yes, I saw the scoreboard going on and off at the end of the day, but I think this is a completely different issue.
Actually, the scoreboard MPH in that image looks correct to me....that was the same MPH & E.T. as I was running last year. My first N/A pass today was an 11.76 @ 113. 113 MPH??? There is no way in hell that can possibly be right....the E.T. matches all my N/A passes from last year but the MPH should be up around 117-119. E.T.'s look fine, but something has gone haywire in their timing system where MPH is calculated.
Hmmm.... not sure. I dont know my MPH was dead on all day were it should be.
Maybe you have the same problem as Bob and a few other with the way your car trips the beams because of the dips and humps on the track.
