Terzich Gears Up for 2011 DragWeek

Former 2007 Drag Week Champion, Denny Terzich is at it again with a new ’69 Camaro. Project “Sick Seconds” takes aim at 3-time champ, Larry Larson and his twin-turbo Chevy II, also fueled by Aeromotive. To reclaim the glory, Terzich has enlisted the help of a 2,000+ hp 589 cu. in. big block, a ProCharger F3R and a full Aeromotive belt-drive fuel system. Sitting still, this ride has already won multiple awards for its attention to detail and craftsmanship. “Best engineered” and “Best In Class” at Pittsburg Autorama and another “Best In Class” at Detroit Autorama.
Terzich and his team will be attending numerous events across the northeastern US this spring and summer, fine-tuning the car’s performance prior to the 2011 Drag Week event. And just in case you haven’t caught on to the project’s name, the goal for the ProRides new Camaro is to run in the 6′s at each and every stop during Drag Week, with the car being driven on the street between events. That’s “sick”!

Lol, the new paving at PRP mostly covered the big oil stain from last years attempt (although part of it is still there). I hope they do well. It looks like this years dragweek schedule has a lot of driving in between tracks.

Did you not see the huge oil spot it put on the pull off (near the flag) at PRP? I mean that thing REALLY left a mark when it blew up in the water box . It was so bad they had to pave over it ... I would call that something ;)

Like you said, bad ass ride, but lets see it eat before we crown it

LOL I remember that one Bob. Put a nice window in side of block. Didn't that car make a 1 or 2 low 7 sec passes while tuning last year?

I like the pic from up around New Castle.

Door slammers in the 6's are pushing the bounds of reason.

At some point the sanctioning bodies should step in and slow em down.

I love racing, I get the show, but it ain't worth dying over!

I think 6's are resonable for a well built car. I'd have hard time with door cars ripping off 5's. Then that may get borderline nuts.
