good place for an extra water temperature gauge install?

I'm getting the intake ready to install and I'm going to run an electric fan and a manual temperature gauge.
I know it would seem like the water doesn't circulate much in the back of the heads but do you think the rear water ports would be a good spot for a gauge or fan sensor?

good question, I am actually thinking about running a -6an line from that rear port to the other rear port on my intake.
