What is up with the thrust bearings on the turbo'd cars ? I know of 2 others who have been having similar issues. One on a 351 based engine and the other a 4.6L modular style.

The thrust bearing was totally my fault. I measure for driveshaft length incorrectly. I ran it that way for just over a year before I noticed my thrust was somewhere between .040" - .060". I only had 1/4" of play on the driveshaft before the yoke bottomed out on the output shaft of the trans. I fixed that at the same time I repaired the motor.
I kiked the T-n-T video. I thought you were going to take out the tree. The shot of the thrust journal on the crank is wild. Never seen a crank that discolored.
