After pulling my car out for spring my brakes feel as if they're not even there! If I pump them once or twice they work fine. The brake fluid is good and full, could this be my brake booster going bad? HELP!

Is the fluid level low? Maybe your rear wheel cylinders are seeping?

Fluid level was a little low but I topped it off and now it is fine. How do I check my rear wheel cylinders?

just pull a wheel or both and then the drums and if its wet there bad just did 2 in my notch much better

Pull the rear wheels and remove the drums. If the wheel cylinders are leaking you'll have a bit of a mess inside the drum. If the fluid level was low it has to be going somewhere. If the wheel cylinders look ok, I'd go thru the whole system checking all the lines, hard and rubber. Get someone to pump the brakes with the car off - and listen and look for leaks. The brakes in my wife's '66 went out once when the master cylinder ( the old single-bowl style ) took a dump, and it can be a very scary thing. It was the first day I had taken the car out after winter hibernation. I was lucky nothing bad happened - I was able to pour fresh fluid in and limp the car home.
They aren't expensive to replace. Maybe $20 a side tops?

no there like 8 to 10 bucks a piece. cant remember just did thiss sat to got bad memory hah

I guess I was thinking about the prices for the '66 rear wheel cylinders - just looked them up & they're around $18. I haven't done any fox repairs in a LONG time!
