    Nitrous fill locations

Who can fill nitrous bottles within some reasonable distance of the Greensburg area?

There was a place in Mount Pleasant (Spray it racing) but their site now says by appointment only ... anyone use them?

I also remember talk of one in New Stanton, but am coming up empty on a name there.

To any of the PRP regulars, does anyone at the track do bottle fills? Anyone there I should talk to?

There used to be a thread I think on PittSpeed with this, but I'm coming up empty ;)

I realize none of these are very close to Greensburg but they all fill bottles.

I would use Jeff @ 1st Try. Highly recommend him. But not really close to GBG at all.

Auto Illusions is an option as well, but seeing as they damaged oem wheels when mounting tires and wouldn't own up, I stay away.

+1, they close at 6 and I got stuck in accident traffic and had a gps arrival time at 5:50 once it cleared up so I called and was told that's not enough time buffer to fill the 2 bottles. Ended up having to drive to summit that night to get my bottles filled. Guess the profit margin wasn't enough (LOL) to stick around a Minute or two to fill 2 bottles.

I am really curious as to what the complaint is on these wheels. I have been the sales manager here for going on 4 years now and can't recall having a issue unresolved.

We purposely bought the best tire mounting machine we could find (Corgi Artigilio Master) to make sure that we take care of customers wheels. There is no guarantee of no damage with any machine but we do our best!

We do offer nitrous fills here as well and are running a sale for SCS members, check out our forum here!

I am not sure what happened here but there must have been something unusual going on. We rarely leave right on time around here...

Not sure, but I was told employees work a schedule for a reason. I would be willing to try again but a good friend has a fill station now.

It happened probably 2 summers ago, the damage wasn't at the edge where the tire is, the damage was at the lug nut/bolt pattern on the wheel. All 4 had circle scratches making a circle around bolt pattern in center of wheel.

I don't use a tire machine, but I've seen Jeff use his many times, it looked like whatever you used to mount the wheel on the balance machine didn't spin with the wheel and dug a big circle scratch on each wheel as it spun for balance.

We got basically pushed out because we picked them up right as you were closing (who would of thought people work 9-5 jobs in the city) and the worker was in a huge hurry to leave (same problem as SK360). When we came back to claim the damage, we were told it wasn't from your machine and we were trying to to scam your shop.

I understand that damage happens, anytime a mechanic works on something, there is that chance. I do plenty of wrenching to understand that. But to call us liars on something so obvious?

What's in the past is in the past. I really don't care seeing it happened 2 years ago, but you won't be getting my money, nor will I recommend you.

I am somewhat confused though because our machine uses "fingers" that only contact the rim at the same points as the lugs do. I agree that anything is possible but I am pretty sure that nobody here told you that you were "trying to scam our shop"

We have been in business for 16 years. I am sure that no business out there this long has 100% customer satisfaction but we do try...

Bumping this back up ... so what's the skinny on locations close to Greensburg now?

I would use Jeff, but quite simply it's too far for me unless i have no other options. I need something on this side of the city that is open until 6:00 or so (or that will fill for my wide ;) )
