    Anniversary wheels and lowering springs

In the next few weeks i have a lot of changes coming for my car, a bone stock 97 gt with a blown up motor.

Well, This makes my s/n kinda stupid but, a few corrections, The cars actually a 97, Bought it from my sister knowing it was blown up and had only seen a picture or two and did the title work and found out it was actually a 97, with a blown up motor from an 00 Lincoln town car.

    Things ive gotten so far:
    - New engine out of a '98 gt
    - 10th Anniversary Cobra wheels

    Things in the near future:
    - Possibly lowering springs
    - CAI
    - Removing the wing

Does anyone happen to have pictures of sn95s with the tenth anni. wheels and a shaved wing? any preference on intakes as well as springs? and especially headlights. mine are horribly yellowed and in need of some kind of miracle cleaning solution or suggestions on new lenses.

Anyways, heres the wheels i scored

Tell which ones were on the back?

    15's!

    ^My awesome headlights

^Blown up 00 motor. Apparently had rust in it when they got it from the junkyard because it sat on its side and water got in the exhaust manifolds.

^ New motor out of a 98 gt with 88xxx miles on it.

Thats all the pics i have for now. Will be getting more once the car is driveable. Ones that arent off of my cell phone.

    Thanks,
    Shawn.

For head lights you can not go wrong with 94-98 cobra headlights. I ran the anniversary wheels on my old cobra when I had it.

Is there a difference from the cobra lights to the gt lights? and was your car lowered when you ran them?

Yes and yes. The cobra lights are "clear" compared to the GT lights. It is obvious once you see them.

Nice. I'll have to look into cobra lights but I was planning on an inch and a half drop.

I had coil overs on mine but I only had it lowered around 3/4" as lowering much more than that screwed up the front suspension geometry too much and I needed the ground clearance for my old house's garage.

I have better pics than this I just can't find them at the moment.

Car is dirty right now but I can get pics of them after this weekend when I get home.

I cleaned and polished one the other day:

Shawn, are you putting the PI heads and intake from the '00 engine on the new one you have? If not, I would definitely do that.

Its from 8-xx-99. would that be PI? and My cousin (the mechanic whos fixing it) just told me i would need a new engine. something about the number 3 cylinder. So im not sure if the heads are good or not. and the intakes cracked. but if they're good would it be worth switching over?

They are on '99 and up GT's. 96-98 were the non-pi heads.
