i purchased new valve seals and pi cams, and pi intake.
i need some help to time this thing, i bled the lash adjusters out and ready to put the cylinder heads back on.
anyone that could help with timing it would be greatly appreciated.

Try this link. Fairly easy to do. Depending on style of tensioner. Metal body ones have small hole that once compressed you can insert a thin metal rod into to hold. They do have a locking mechanism which needs worked also as piston is compressed into body. The plastic ones just have to be compressed as they have no way to lock in place.

thanks man, yeah i do have the metal tensioners that you can lock with the end of a paperclip or such.
i found my haynes manual which helps but want me to use the cam locking tools which arent gonna do anygood with the cams having to come out lol.
im just confused at when the cams are at tcd in the heads.
right now the crank is at 9 o clock in safe mode so i can rotate the cams without any binding.
everything is installed but the timing chains and tensioners.
man this shits confusing
when you lay the chains out to mark the ends determines how the cam will sit..
if with one mark on on the crankgear correctly, pull the rail side tight and turn the camgear into the opposite marked link (remember from article, not the raised bit, the other one)
lines itself up, good luck
i see what your saying the small dimples on the sprocket, not the big ones yeah.
so how do i know where to mark the crank gears? or are they already marked? and do i leave it in safe mode? or put the crank at top dead center? then rotate the cams to match the chains up
oh nevermind set i see the 2 dimples on the small crank gears that point down to 6 o clock, hot damn im gonna go time this thing!
they are surely marked, 4 o'clock almost with key at 90°?? check out the article as you do it, pretty straight forward..
thanks again man that really cleared shit up for me.
that article was confusing as hell, well to me anyways lol.
from the look of the pics he timed it with the crank at tdc? not sure.
anyways i kept the crank at 9 oclock safe mode
lined the chain and crank gear up, pulled it tight against the bottom rail on the driver side and turned the cam til the marks matched up.
then the same for passenger side.
rotated the motor by hand a few times, dont feel any binding. turns smooth!
