Wow, Nice turbo :D
So with that beast on there, what is she going to run... 8's???

It better fkn go 8s every time out, unless I forget to turn on the boost controller, then high 9s are acceptable :D
Honestly with this turbo, the RPM potential of the refreshed motor, and the ability to run 315/60/15 tires (those big bastards will help big time on marginal tracks), the only questionable link is the built AOD. If that holds, it runs 8s----if not it gets a powerglide ;).

And thanks Randy and Bob, I hope the Street Lethal guys post a few more turbo pics. I had to run and only got those cell pics, made my day it was delivered just before I got there and I was very impressed with it.
I've heard a guy in Michigan has a program to take almost 30# out of it for $300, that will probably be a future plan.

why did you go with such a small turbo??!?!?
To keep the ability to run x275 and classes where the car could be restricted to 88mm. I'm moving close to Milan, MI and they have a class that would be fun that is 88mm max. and this is the best 88mm turbo available except for billet wheel $3000+ dollar deals.
Not building this for any class other than True Street and my demented definition of a streetable track car.
The motor could support a bigger turbo but I wanted to keep the rpm range and cam smaller and this turbo has supported 1700hp in testing, should be enough

I hope it is and performs like I've been told.
I got it from Reed at Work Turbo (formerly Supernatural Turbo).
He's worked with some top racers and locally with Street Lethal on a few projects, awesome guy to work with if you need a turbo.
He did a lot of testing for BW on these new AirWerks designs, supposedly this same 88mm made 1700hp engine dyno on an 8000rpm 30# 370 SBF!
This was the last pre-production unit available from BW, should almost be available to public now.
What's the turbo/project you're working on?

i will be using s475 on a stock ls2 GTO. did Garret gt4202 on a 02 camaro last couple years. haven't really messed with any turbos larger than 76mm. more street oriented and try to keep customers on conservative end of things and not chase a number
