    1957 Cadillac

Just figured id share my Cadillac. Its a 1957 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. It was my grandmothers first car and she was the original owner. She has since passed away and the car was to be handed down to me. the car is baby blue and has 67xxx orig. miles. As it sits now it needs a full resto. It runs and drives but needs some body work. frame is solid it just needs some repairs in the wheel wells. over the next couple of years i plan on doing a complete resto on the car. full interior, body work and paint, exterior pieces re-chromed, etc... I plan on restoring it back to show condition. No matter how long it takes. Just a car i will never part with.

Crappy sell phone pic. will bring it out some time this summer for some more pictures.

    Thanks,
    Shawn

Wow - those old Caddies are fantastic! You are very fortunate to have such a great ONE OWNER car, let alone one with such sentimental value. When do you plan on doing the restoration? The guy who restored my Dad's '57 TBird and '63 R2 Avanti, as well as my Father-in-Law's '48 Studebaker Commander convertible would be a great candidate to do the work for you. His rates are VERY reasonable, he does amazing work, and I can put you in touch with him if you want. Let me know.

Oh - and how about some more pics!!

Yeah, i plan on taking it out and cleaning it up sometime this summer. then ill snap some pics. and as far as the resto i feel like its gonna cost me an arm and a leg and i dont have that much money at the moment. so it will be a work in progress. my cousin owns a body shop in south fayette so i figure he can help me work on it from time to time if things ever slow down. and thats definitely where its getting painted though. only have to pay for the price of paint. should be a fun project that will keep me busy for a while.

Bad ass man. You better not let it go, I'd kill to get ahold of some of the cars my family owned at one point!

Would like to see more pics for sure.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump
