    Exclamation coolant leak help !!!

Ok, so after driving the stang and I park it, I can smell antifreeze. I can't find anything leaking anywhere. I've checked the heads, hoses, anywhere I can look. There's nothing on the ground and no sign anywhere. The low coolant light has come on two times, once yesterday and once last fall so the leak isn't too bad. There's nothing in the oil. I doubt that it is leaking into the cylinder because I'd expect to smell something if the motor was running, not if it's off. The smell is definitely coming from under the hood.

Any ideas? I'm pulling the plugs tonight but other than that I'm stumped!

Try a pressure test to see if it's coming out anywhere? It could be burning off before you see it drip anywhere.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

Will that point to the leak or just show there is a leak?

check to see if your carpet is wet on the passenger side. might be your heater core leaking.

Anyone have a pressure tester that's willing to lend it? I called Advanced in Cranberry but they don't have one.

x2 or turn on the defrosters when the car is warm and you my get moisture or a film on the windshield.

Thanks guys. I found a leaky radiator. All the fluid was dripping an running down into the bumper so nothing ever hit the floor. There must be a real small hole somewhere cause there's just one small spot that seems to seep.

I drove the car home in a fun manner yesterday to keep it hot so I could jack it up and crawl under.

Glad you found it, and glad it wasn't something more serious (HG).

Lol, if it was a head gasket, that would just mean a call to Mr. Edlebrock or someone else that knows a few things about flow!

I'd almost rather it be a head gasket than a heater core - if the SN95's are as much as a bee-yotch to change as the fox bodies are...

Glad you found the leak - I hate that smell...

Me too. I had to change the evap core in my 2000 dakota. That was a bitch. I had to take the whole dash out, remove half the interior panels to get the dash out. Then I couldn't get the dash back in. I also created a nice vacuum leak that I never did find. NO MORE DODGE!
