Craftsman chrome 12pt socket on an IMPACT! what do you think would happen? I've broke them all, Snap-on, Mac, Matco, Craftsman and others, for the money Craftsman is the best bang for the buck. My 2cent.

I bought them I can use them any way I want All I was pointing out was that Duralast sockets take more abuse than Crafstman will. The straw that broke the camel's back for me was a few years ago I was taking a drive shaft off of a 992C ( 3/4 12 point) and broke 2 craftsman sockets... now I'm dead in the water. One of the guys at work goes over to his truck and pulls out a no name socket that procedes to take out all 4 bolts without issue (using a 1/2 air gun 190psi)

At the shop I have in my box all mac tools. At home I have a mix match set up. Mostly craftsman. They both serve their purposes for me though!

To me a part time hobby mechanic Craftsman is best bang for the buck. Can't beat the warrenty.
