Bob is right, PRP gets a lot of credit for this one. They could have easily used the 4:00-4:15 rain as a reason to call it off, but they dried and prepped the track. They had to have taken a red ink bath last night, couldn't have been more than 40 cars total making passes.

There has been several times this year I would have expected PRP to close but they are sticking with it and trying to change things.

I cant remember the last time racers didnt get a good amount of runs on s TNT. Also there could have been many rainouts this year but PRP worked through one of the rainiest seasons yet. I know QCR hasn't completed a raceday yet, and only completed one or two TNT's.

Im sure all the PRP haters are lurking and waiting for something to happen so they can post the negative.

PRP has also been putting down a good bit of asphalt which has cut down on alot of the rocks. Which tells me they know the rocks are a problem and are making efforts towards that issue also.

i agree to a point but i can not believe they are making people drive their cars up that bumpy ass gravel road instead of just going through the gates like it used to be. wtf is up with that??

yeah I agree with you on that one. They are trying to eliminate the cars backing up there and blocking that road that they dont own. Next time I run into Mike ill mention to him to maybe open those gates on TNT days for the street cars. He is open to suggestion. Other then the nice cars having to drive on that gravel road it works much better. I never have to wait in line anymore and get right in.

For sure the changes this year have mostly been positive. going to need to keep them up to get past some of the negatives they earned over the years, but clearly you can see an effort to change them if you are out there.
