I don't know how they are now but does it come with a tool for the fasteners if so it's not to hard just take your time and if you need a hand just holler.

We got hog ring pliers & hog rings. I understand the hard part is wearing your hands out stretching them. We will see ;)
Now if you want to swing by and swap a tranny, I'll open the garage for you ;)
Started on the seats today. Here is what we started with ...
And the same seat redone in sport cloth ...
I have seen that little "pucker" that you can see toward the front of the side bolster on other seats that was redone. Sort of strange, it is actually sewn into the covers like that, sort of odd to me.
Looks really nice Bob. Upholstering is tough work when you're working on bucket seats. Nice choice - in my opinion, the cloth is way nicer than leather in those cars.

PEOPLE HAVE MORE FUN THAN ANYONE
Those seats look awesome. I've been going back and forth about buying the upholstery kit in black but just haven't pulled the trigger.
I'm feeling an itch in my trigger finger !
Don't want to hijack your thread, but did you happen to notice if there was a place to screw on a seatbelt runner like a vert seat has ?
I'm thinking about buying a used set of covers that came out of a vert. If there's no provision to screw the runner on I'll end up with two holes in the side of the seat.
Yes, side bussiness to my driveline durability testing ;)
That's mostly the hope. No point in going 90% and wishing we did the rest .... although we are at 95% and I'm calling it done ;)
No way I would put leather in a 'vert ... I actually wanted to do the "Mach 1" style vinyl, but same deal ... She will put the top down in the morning and the car goes until night sitting around in the sun ...
I still havent decided what I'm going to do about those. The frame is basically a big piece of steel in that area. I am going ot look at the "newer" SN95 loops and see if they will work. The little "tabs" the LX seats now have are useless. I will post pictures of what I do in the end.
