I've built my own mod fox headlight to taillight. Including the mod motor and wiring. Built a 5.0 for it before that. Supercharged my 11. So because I want to run this tune I means I don't know shit and im incapable of doing my own work? Great point. Not mention my parents have owned a very successful garage for 24 years. Just go put your head in hole and hide if you don't like what new technology can do. Good thing im the one making the payments on this car so I can keep doing what I want to regardless of anyones opinion

according to ls3 gto your mod swapped fox was a "shitbox". I have two foxes i like them both. I had nothing negative to say other than me agreeing w/ m aubele about simulated camshafts for sound. The real issue in this post is someone in a mustang specific forum bashing mustangs...good luck with your car.

I think he was just being a smart ass, he has a mustang too and im pretty sure he likes it. I can tell you I loved my fox. Id still have it if cash wasnt an option.
Theres just no point in flamming someone for their opinion on what they are going to do with their car. Lots of people on here do mods I think are tasteless but its their car and at the end of the day if makes them happy thats great. Afterall its just my opinion and it might be a bad one.

anyways back on topic, this car made some great numbers stock. Called mike today hopefully he can squeeze my car in the near future......cant wait to see what it will do!! The coyote was a big step in right direction!!

This is a stupid question maybe but what do you do with an automatic car if youre aiming for 1:1 through the tranny?

These are awesome numbers I'm going to make a solid commitment to get my car on a dyno. Jon Lund has done some great numbers from what I've seen and I would like to be one of those cars.

Depends on the tranny but we use the tuning software, when possible, to lock the car in the appropriate gear so it makes a pull from start to finish in the same gear. You don't want the car to shift while sampling...

Lund supposedly had a friend at Ford Racing, who asked him nicely to stop, since it was infringing on the BOSS Track Key profile.

Although according to Lund, he actually had access to the hex behind the SCT Data Layers, which is how he had gotten access to the feature/values vs. any other tuner out there.

So in short and less techy, he enabled the feature a different/innovative way that Ford did, but in the end got the same result.

Rumors are saying Ford is going to release a Track Key for the GT, although not sure how since the BOSS and GT use a different PCM. From my understanding the BOSS's PCM supports the dual performance modes where the GT does not. So should be interesting to see.

Btw the " ghost tunes" were designed for more hp, the fake cam sound was just for posing...changing the lsa at idle to pretend that SKILLED modifications were done to the car, as M Aubele stated "is ricer". Swapping cams in a 4 cam car is a huge and involved project, the annoying part is that people will be driving around with " fake cam tune" pretending to have done real skilled mods to their car, and beating their chests about how mean they MADE their cars.
That "mod" is right up there with new floor mats or better yet a headlight bulb
install.

Just so you know I don't go around "beating my chest". I actually tell people it is all in the tune and for the most part they are impressed by the technology to be able to do that.
